So the asking was never about the answer.

What does freedom actually mean, when "just leave, life's too short" has never once helped? Every time someone says it, something in you tightens, because you're not stuck for lack of courage. You hold entire worlds together. The problem is one nobody names: you can't actually choose. The exit isn't real for you.

I have no reason to feel like this.

You push it away, because you have a good life, a really good life. But the thought doesn't care how good your life is. It comes back anyway.
